Know the venue
Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Industrial – ETSII
The ETSII is part ot the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), a public university founded in 1845, dedicated to higher education in engineering in Spain. The School is located in the heart of Madrid, next to Paseo de la Castellana. The building in which it is located is known as the Palace of Industry and Arts, and dates back to 1887. This architectural work of art is part of the city’s heritage, with its large dome reminding everyone of its importance.
Salón de actos – Main room
This is the room where the talks will take place. It can hold up to 288 people in the main room and 64 additional people in the balconies. It is located in the ground floor of the ETSII, next to the Sala de la Máquina.
Sala de la Máquina
This open and diaphanous space will be holding the scientific poster sessions, as well as the coffee and lunch breaks. This 500 square meters area is located in the ground floor.
